Korey Wacker went 2-for-4 with two runs, David Carroll held Boston College to one run in eight innings and Maryland defeated the Eagles 7-1 Saturday afternoon.
Wacker was the ultimate utility man for the Terps (18-11, 3-9 ACC), tallying two hits, two runs, two stolen bases and an RBI before coming on to pitch in the ninth inning. The all-around effort proved critical in helping Maryland take the third and final game of the series.
