Kentucky 72 Kansas 65—Calipari Gets His Ring

from The Sports Network

“At Madison Square Garden on November 15, Kentucky beat Kansas 75-65. At half- time, the score was 28-28. It may or may not have been too early to call it a barometer on this potential match-up in April, but afterwards, winning coach John Calipari said, “We’re not a good team yet. We’ve got good players, but we broke off every play.” Fast forwarding, they are now known for sharing the ball nicely. “Really, really, really tal- ented one through seven,” said Kansas guard Tyshawn Taylor about the opponent, after scoring a misleading 22 points on 3-for-13 shooting and 15-for-17 at the free-throw line. “Two or three games in, they’re going to be really, really good once they get more practice and more reps. A lot of the guys are young still. I think they’re going to be amazing.”

MY TAKE:

Anthony Davis just gets better and better with each game. Michael Kidd Gilchrist is ready to explode!!  Tyshon Taylor is 0-20 from the 3 point line. Stan Robinson is only shooting 39%. The only question is how many will the “Cats win by.

kansas is a very good defensive team and a better rbounding team than ky. kansas needs to keep this a half court game for a chance to win.
