Cut to the chase–There are severe hitting problems on this team. First and foremost is Mark Reynolds—0 HR batting 150 with 3 RBI—something has to give. By the way I forgot to mention his fielding.
We just can’t deliver against NY. back to the chase—(for those of you who don’t even watch anymore) top of 7th down 2-1 —2nd and 3rd 1 out and Chris Davis swings at a pitch he would have needed a sand wedge to hit. 2 out and now there is a wild pitch that somehow stops rolling after 10 ft. Russell Martin makes a superb play and throws Markakis out at the plate. Game over.
The O’s can not afford to get swept again by the Yanks. it’s early but it’s Judgment Day!!!

considering there is about 139 games left in the season it’s not judgement day. sure it would be nice if the o’s could win the next 2 and maybe more importantly win tonight with a well pitched game from matusz but judgement day. i’m reminded of the movie the princess bride when vinzini keeps using the word “inconceivable” and indigo says You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means. judgement days comes when there is “no tomorrow”. not until then. inconceivable.
