Listen, I like Loyola too. Toomey, Jimmy, Jen Adams , Ryan Eigenbrode, Greg Manning, former AD Joe Boylan all are friends of mine. Coach Tillman tells me that Charlie Toomey is his best friend in the lacrosse world. The Loyola fans were first class, never rubbing in the one sided victory with chants. On the way home many Loyola followers told me how much they like Maryland and root for them in Football and Basketball, the same way I root for Jimmy Patsos. There is no doubt that if Loyola played anyone else for the title, I (like Coach Tillman and many Terrapins) would have rooted my heart out for them. Loyola treats me great. But please it was Maryland for darn sakes!!!!My team, My guys, my heart. 37 years, 2 Straight Championship games. Like all Terrapin Lax fans, I was crushed by the defeat after watching the Terrapins great run to the final day!! Everyone give me a break. Here is the ultimate, I was getting my knee drained today when my Doctor said to me “Don’t you feel good for Loyola!!!”! I just had to laugh. Let’s hope there is a rematch of these 2 great programs in 2013 in Philadelphia!!!
