Today it was the speed of Adam Jones, as he scored from 1st on a Matt Wieters double in the 10th inning to put the O’s in the Win column. This was the 9th straight extra inning win of the year. I was leaving the hotel where I was staying yesterday while wearing an Adam Jones #10 jersey. The parking lot attendant saw it, and made some comment about being from Philly. At this point , I started gloating that just maybe #10 was the best center fielder in the game. Immediately he said What? better then Josh Hamilton. My response is I’d rather have Adam. Would you?

for one year hamilton is the obvious choice. long term..jones. right now hamilton is a super super star. probably the best position player in baseball jones is a star in the making.
