Kevin Durant is Unstoppable as OKC Downs The Heat 105-94 in Game 1

Some observations of a great opening game in the NBA Championship Series:

It is hard to believe that James Harden played such a small role in the game Tuesday night–5 points in 22 minutes

We all expect KD to play excellent as he did, exploding in the 4th quarter. But as I wrote about last night the X factor will be which Russell Westbrook shows up each night. Russell tore through the Miami Heat defense often making Dwayne Wade look old. Westbrook finished with 27 points 11 assists and 8 rebounds.

I thought LeBron had an excellent game tonight but we can see the difference between the King and KD—shooting. Durant’s jumper is lethal.

Before everyone jumps off the Heat ship I kind of liked their effort today. Shane Battier might have had his best game as a pro. Dwayne Wade looked slow and injured. He must play better as the series moves on. Bosh looked out of kilter tonight–I predict he will move back into the starting lineup on Tuesday.

What in the world were Alonzo and Pat Riley doing sitting in the stands with all of the OKC fans?  I will stay with my pick of The Thunder in 6. Remember all the Thunder did last night was hold service.
