Miami has responded in a physical way since the opening game loss to OKC. LeBron has established himself as the dominant player on the court with tremendous assistance from the refs. I remember back when LeBron’s talents were on display in Cleveland and believe it or not, the Cavs were facing the Wizards in game 6 at the then MCI Center. With less then 10 seconds left and the Cavs trailing by one, the side was cleared and LeBron went 1 on 3 driving to the basket. He took his one and half steps coming to a jump stop and then took about 3 steps positioning himself for the game ending layup. Nothing has changed although LeBron gets a bad rap. I had a chance to participate in a few 3 one 1 interviews with the King and he was a pure gentleman, always praising his opponent and never crying about the incredibly rough treatment he received from the DC crowds. LeBron is a warrior and if the Heat fails to gain the title , it won’t be the King’s fault.
As for tonight, OKC has its back up against the wall. I highly doubt we will see Derek Fisher running into shooters in the 3 point territory. We will see the best of the Thunder tonight . If the Heat prevails, the Thunder will soon be looking at the newest golf equipment.
OKC 105 Heat 100
