poor fotwork by betemin on wright’s liner to hardy cost o’s a dp. betemin was slow getting to the bag and his foot was on the middle top of the bag when it should have been on the outer edge. he needs to catch the ball as if he was playing first base and extending out for the ball. he makes the play the o’s are out of the inning. that said it looks like even the 27 yankees in their prime couldn’t hit dickey. dickey’s second straight one hitter.
