OKC is just not ready for prime time. You have to lose before you win so they say in the NBA. Despite a tremendous 20-32 shooting performance from Russell Westbrook, OKC got little or no contribution from anyone other then KD. James Harden was 2-10 and missed 4 wide open threes. Perkins, Sefolosha, and Ibaka were pathetic and did not dominant the Heat’s bigs like they should have.
One would think that Scott Brooks and his staff would have shouted the situation left at the jump ball with 17 seconds left. Isn’t that what coaches do!!!
Mario Chalmers was the difference tonight, scoring 25 with 12 in the 4th quarter.
With the Heat trailing 33-19 after the first quarter, KD took a few ill advised threes and when he missed the Heat capitalized. just like that the score was tied at 35.
The series will end Saturday night and perhaps the Thunder will begin to ponder what big man is available to help them.
