Team USA proved some kind of point Thursday. What it was I don’t know. It was ridiculous. Olympic Basketball has turned into the NBA A Team (USA) against the B, C, and D teams in Spain, Argentina, and France. Here’s the problem: as the USA was thoroughly humiliating another opponent, LeBron had a breakaway play. As he went up for the jam, a Nigerian player pushed him from the rear. The push was gentle, no harm was done, but can you imagine if the player was angry and pushed him hard. LeBron suffering a major injury when the USA was up by 50 is unfathomable. Our players almost look bored.
