what happened to cj is sad. but what’s done is done. you can look at it this way. cj has never won a game at qb. cj showed great promise as a runner but wasn’t much as a passer. you can’t argue that. hills at qb. reportedly the best passer of all md’s qb’s. sometimes teams rally in the face of adversity. and cj’s injury could bring this team even closer together. it’s up to the o line to excel. if the terps can run the ball effectively that will open up the passing game. md has a good number of athletic, skilled players in the backfield and at receiver though they are young and inexperienced. well, they’ll need to grow up in a hurry but who says they can’t. some early success will help build confidence. it could work out.

the games seem more meaningful now but a win in april counts the same as a win in august.
