Some thoughts on a horrendously boring game:
It was very exciting when Flacco was removed from the game after 1 quarter, especially after sitting in 1 hr traffic to get to the game
Tyrod Taylor just doesn’t have it yet
Terrapin QB Shaun Hill is more then an able backup to Matthew Stafford
Shame on the NFL for not getting the labor conflict with refs straight–Someone said one of the refs was from the lingerie football league–I believe it–it must have been a new record for offsides calls–LaQuan was mugged a few times trying to catch the seed
The defense did not lay a hand on Matthew Stafford save a late hit by Kruger
Megatron (Calvin Johnson) is unreal. His TD pass over Jimmy Smith was something to see
All in all the offense looked pretty good with the exception of the failure to score a TD
Billy Cundiff was greeted by scattered boos on his first field goal attempt–His competition for the spot, Justin Tucker nailed a 50 yard FG
The 8 oclock Friday start time helped to fill the stadium. People left in droves by halftime
When all is said and done the game meant nothing and now only 2 absurdities remain
