Over the course of his tenure in Baltimore, I had the pleasure and distinct honor of being in the company of Art Modell a few times. What struck me was his sense of humor, the love of his players, his love of the NFL , and how he always seemed interested in learning more about me. I barely knew him yet he asked about my family , what I did for a living, etc. It took less then a minute before I realized it was a pleasure to be in his company. Rest in peace Art.
