With all respect to Davey Johnson and Bob Melvin, there is no better manager in baseball then Buck. When Sabathia threw at Markakis, and Nick went down 3 Saturday nights ago, I thought the Birds were cooked. Today, I could not believe that Buck left Saunders in for 7 1/3, here’s the bottom line–DONT 2ND GUESS Buck—ever.
Forget 89 or even the Championship years. The run that this team (overall 52 members) mad to get to this point is unbelievable.
By the way Manny Machado should be penciled in at 3B for the next 15 years.
