The sooner Bobby Valentine is out of baseball the better. Furthermore the single most important play for the Yankees in their pennant quest was CC successfully throwing at Markakis. Nobody can convince me that wasn’t the case. It broke my heart yesterday to hear Nick talk about his disappointment in not being able to play in the playoffs.
So now it’s off to Texas to face Yu Darvish and the collapsing Texas Rangers. Should the O’s win Friday night, I absolutely love our chances against Girardi and the Yanks. Girardi will never last in NY. Joe Torre had more class in his pinkie then Girardi will ever have. But first there is business to take care of in Arlington where routine fly balls turn into Home runs.
