Dear Bruce,
On October 29th, I will be competing for the biggest prize in poker; the World Series of Poker ™ Main Event bracelet. Making it to the Final Table has been an incredible experience and it has taken some luck and a lot of skill to get here. I am excited and ready to play.
As a native Marylander and a professional poker player, I am also excited about bringing poker rooms to our state. That is why I stand with the Poker Players Alliance in support of Question 7. How great will it be to have real card rooms right in our own backyard and not have to travel hundreds of miles to play poker? Think about the possibility of bringing big-time poker tournaments, like the WSOP Circuit and the World Poker Tour, to our Maryland casinos! This won’t happen unless we help pass Question 7.
Success in poker is all about making smart decisions and the decision to vote for Question 7 should be a no-brainer for every poker player in the state. Please be sure you get to the polls on November 6th and ship your YES vote for Question 7.
