I was at Reitz Arena last night and size wise, ability wise the Terps were clearly superior. Loyola came out bombing a few 3s in but when you live by the 3 you usually die by the 3. This is a special Maryland team. Their presence is overwhelming. The addition of Malina Howard, Katie Rutan, Chloe pavlech, and Tierney Pfirman gives Brenda depth the likes of which she has never had.
Final rebounding total–Terps 55 Loyola 18
Juan Dixon and probably 300 other Maryland fans were in the house tonight.
Amazing that Alyssa Thomas shot 1-9 but the Terps still won by 43.
Next up for Maryland St Joes in Philly on Saturday.
