Just when it seems that Maryland could be in free fall, I am going against the grain and truly believe Maryland will be victorious tonight.
#1 This is the ACC where if you think you can’t lose you probably will. NC State is riding as high as it has in years. Yet I see the blemishes.
#2 The Wolfpack goes 7 deep and that is a stretch. Any foul trouble for CJ Leslie or Richard Howell and they are in trouble.
#3 Scott Wood is their go to shooter yet he only averages 12.3 per game. Maryland has yet to suffer a strong opposing shooting percentage and tonight won’t be the first.
#4 IT IS INCONCEIVABLE that our offense can be as bad as it has been the last 3 halves. With Nick at the point and Seth at the 2, scoring from the guards will definitely pick up. PeShon should bounce back at home, I hope. Shaq had a great practice and Mitchell is way overdue. The newcomers will always play better at home.
#5 Alex should be able to step up a little with no big forces coming after him.
#6 The game is sold out
#7 The fact that maryland is favorite means something –what I don’t know.
#8 My gut tells me it’s turnaround time for the Terps
