The Maryland wrestling team (10-6, 1-1 ACC) closes out its ACC home slate Friday night at Comcast Pavilion against 11th-ranked Virginia. The dual is schedule for a 7 p.m. start.
“This is always a crazy match,” said head coach Kerry McCoy. “It is usually a match between two of the top teams in the conference. They are a really solid team and always come prepared to wrestle. It is just a battle. That’s what I expect this weekend. It is going to be a good match.”

Tough loss for the Terps. Again the middle and light weights are just giving up too many points for this team to be competitive nationally, much less the ACC.
