The Maryland wrestling team closed out its Atlantic Coast Conference schedule with a pair of wins at Duke and at NC State on Saturday. The Terps (12-7, 3-2 ACC) defeated the Blue Devils, 38-3, in their first match of the day and bested the Wolfpack, 22-19, in the second dual.
“The guys wrestled tough and scored a lot of points,” said head coach Kerry McCoy. “To go on the road and face two teams in one day is a challenge, but we were up to the challenge. It’s a nice way to finish the ACC dual season and set the tone for the ACC Tournament.”
