Some comments on today’s game
The loss of PeShon for tonight is a devastating blow. His game has picked up layely and I do believe he would have seen his most playing time in a while taking on the responsibility of guarding his good buddy Quinn Cook.
Our opponent today is ranked #2 in the nation–therefore it is a big game. Maryland needs this marquis victory against the floppers.
This is the last time this particular opponent most likely will ever play at Comcast. The opposing Coach has made it clear that like Texas — Texas A&M—next years matchup will be the last ever barring postseason play.
Hopefully the crowd will be fired up and let the opponent have the same medicine that it dished out in Durham. That is except for the insulting unnecessary chants directed at a few Terps. I would hope that the refs receive an earful when Alex is mugged like he was down at Duke. Probably, the Terps have little chance to win if Alex doesn’t exert himself and fight back.
So at 8PM or so when the game ends and the opponent leaves Comcast for the last time, my thoughts will be only be GOOD RIDDANCE. That’s my take and I’m sticking to it.
