Just a few items after the post game mortems from down South:
All of a sudden we are dodging the sour grapes thrown at us from Durham. Three games in 6 days. Poor Mason Plumlee was tired. Maryland either made a basket or received free throws down the wire. Are you kidding me?
Mason Plumlee tired? No other big men because of Kelly’s injury. Coach K, Turgeon just beat you without a point guard. Turgeon’s team just beat you with 26 turnovers. Turgeon’s team just outrebounded you 40-20. Your #2 team allowed a Freshman to school you down the wire. The Terps had 25 fouls–Duke had 24 yet the Terps shot 13 more foul shots–You know why Coach K—because the refs called 6 charges on Maryland–3 of which were blatant flops. Just take your loss, get out of Comcast and don’t ever come back. Oh that’s right you already know that you are not coming back. A promise from Swofford?
