The No. 1 Maryland women’s lacrosse team limited Boston College to a mere eight shots in a 13-5 victory on the road Saturday.
Maryland (8-0, 3-0 ACC) allowed a season-best five goals to BC (3-4, 1-1 ACC) and outshot the Eagles 29-8. Freshman Taylor Cummings led the offense with four goals. Alex Austadded a hat trick and Kelly McPartland posted two goals and an assist to aid the attack. Covie Stanwick scored 3 for BC.
