You have to wonder how far is Maryland really away from being back when you watch Duke just take Michigan State apart. Remember Maryland just humiliated Duke 2 weeks ago.
Kansas blew a 14 point lead with 6 minutes left. Not a great prime time job by Mr Self. Mitch McGary finished with 25 points.
I’m with Bruce on this, MD is very close to turning the corner. Not just based on their performances against Dule. The younger players and Peshon are now playing with much more confidence which is crucial when it comes to playing on the road and finishing out close games, two areas where this years team struggled with. I see no reason why this wont carry over to next year and beyond.
