Just a few comments on one of the greatest college games I have ever seen:
Luke Hancock’s 4 threes at the end of the 2nd half changed this game. Why Beilein left Trey Burke on the bench with 2 fouls, for the final 12 minutes of the 1st half confounds me. This is the NCAA Championship. By the way Burke finished with 2 fouls.
Peyton Siva put the ball in his own hands and led the Cardinal to victory in the 2nd half.
Chane Behanan out physical-ed the Wolverines in the 2nd half to which Pitino labeled the key to victory.
Poor clock management helped to finish off Michigan as Beilein allowed 21 seconds to run off the clock
Message to Coach Turgeon- Michigan and Indiana had tremendous problems with the press

if maryland wants to become a pressing team they need to get in much better shape. if you remember they were tired at the beginning of the 3rd game in the acc tourney and were sluggish because of a long layoff in the nit. they need to find a better conditioing coach.

Burke finished with 4 fouls not 2. Still shouldn’t have been sitting that long in the 1st half.
