Maryland athletics is excited to announce the upcoming 2013 Big Ten Open, presented by Under Armour, on June 10, 2013 at the Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, Maryland.
The proud past of the University of Maryland will be celebrated as we welcome our bright future in the Big Ten Conference. This exclusive event will begin on Congressional’s Blue Course, home to multiple U.S. Open Championships, and also include a dinner in the Congressional Club House.
Maryland director of athletics Kevin Anderson, along with Big Ten commissioner Jim Delany, head football coach Randy Edsall and men’s head basketball coach Mark Turgeon will join this day of fun and celebration.
This signature golf outing of the summer will benefit our football and men’s basketball programs, as well as the Terrapin Club Scholarship Fund. This exclusive event will be the lone scheduled golf outing involving Randy Edsall and Mark Turgeon and the football and men’s basketball programs.
