All of Washington at large wants the Bullets to pick Georgetown 6’9 forward Otto Porter, a Tayshaum Prince like rangy small forward. With the new order, Alex Len has slid down to 9th pick to Minnesota according to nbadraft.net
I don’t think any of the top 15 picks, whomever they might be, are top 15 picks. I’d be surprised if 5 guys drafted in the first round will have any positive impact on their team next year. If I was Cleveland’s G.M. I’d trade the first pick. If they could get 2 basketballs and some free passes to the movies it would be a good trade for them.
The draft is a bigger crapshoot than ever with the preponderance of untested underclassmen and foreigners.
They would destroy Grunfeld if he did not use that gift of a 3rd pick, however.
Together with Wall, Beal if they get lucky this could be a very strong core to build on.
