Sunday night at 8PM is a night that real terrapin fans can’t wait for. A chance to add another NCAA Title to the resume. The 2013 Terps enter this game #1 in the Nation undefeated at 22-0 but this is the game where history is formed. In my opinion it i hard tio imagine a deeper team that will take the field tomorrow for Maryland. A team that has been led by 2 Senior Superstars—each with a NCAA title, 4 Final fours and 4 ACC Championships in their repertoire. Of course I am referring to Alex Aust and Katie Schwarzmann. But that is where this team just begins. The depth is overwhelming but when crunch time comes look for the 2 leaders to take over. Carolina is hot, doing what no team has been able to do–embarrass Northwestern in the Playoffs 12-4. Kara Cannizzaro was incredible Friday night scoring 4 goals. Along with Abby Friend Carolina has its own 1-2 punch that is formidable. But Maryland has Taylor Cummings, Brooke Griffin, Beth Glaros, Kelly McPartland, Iliana Sanza, Alice Mercer just to name some of the incredible talent Cathy Reese has recruited and then developed.
