The 6-foot-5, 200-pound junior is averaging 14.1 points and 2.7 rebounds, leading his team in points.
Wiley is already deep into the recruiting process and has cut his list to six potential suitors.
“I got six schools: Maryland, Georgetown, Florida, Miami, Indiana and Cincinnati,” Wiley said.
“They’ve been recruiting me real hard, since Day 1,” Wiley said. “I feel comfortable with their coaching staff. We really click.
“They’re my No. 1 choice right now.”
The No. 37 player in the 247Sports Comopsite Rankings has a plan to visit Maryland later this month. He shared the message coach Mark Turgeon and his coaching staff have been selling.
“They’re telling me I can come in right away and make an impact as a freshman,” Wiley said. “They’ve actually been calling me and [Mount St. Joseph guard] Phil [Booth] a package deal. I haven’t talked to Phil recently about it though.”
