Class of 2014 standout Dion Wiley has verbally committed to Maryland coach Mark Turgeon, a source told CBSSports.com early Friday. Wiley subsequently confirmed the news with a text message to CBSSports.com.
Wiley is expected to sign a national letter of intent in November. The 6-foot-4 guard is a consensus top-50 prospect rated as high as 22nd by one service. He chose Maryland over a host of other high-major programs, among them Indiana and Georgetown. Wiley is the second Class of 2014 prospect to commit to Maryland. The other is Romelo Trimble. from CBS Sports.com
