What an incredible 7th game. LeBron nailed outside shots all night but was especially clutch down the wire. LeBron captured his 2nd straight MVP of the Playoffs Award. His legacy is growing.
Kawhi Leonard was easily the MVP of the Spurs as he finished with 19 points and 16 rebounds
Bosh, Ray Allen, and Mike Miller did not score for the Heat.
This whole series came to the Spurs implosion in game 6. Ray Allen’s 3 pointer with 5 seconds left perhaps the shot of the decade so far.
Popovich was extremely gracious post game.
Duncan had another super effort despite missing a key shot and tip in in the final minute.

Great, exciting game. LeB stepped up big time. Had to be he most exciting 7 th game ever.
Agree that graciousness of Pop and the Spurs was pure class. They won more fans with their graciousness, than any win would have.
LeB sealed his place in history as a finisher deluxe.
Finally!
Wade also showed guts and class, playing with 2 bad knees.
But this is not the end of the Spurs, not with Leonard, Parker Et al.
Also with Pops leading the way. But the league is going to be even better and stronger next year. Return of Rose, Clips big moves, Lakers more settled, Atlanta good moves, and the possible emergence of Wiz, Cavs. Nets with Kidd at the helm, Knicks will improve… will be very interesting indeed.
My favorite sport and league are in great shape moving forward.

fisrt..not a great game. great last 8-9 minutes but the rest of the game reminded me of md-ind. no pace, sloppy. spo outcoached pop. duncan did not play great no matter what his numbers were. missed many shots because he rushed and was off balance. duncan is not a guy who can make quick moves. he plays deliberate. miami played good d. the spurs let miami shoot uncontested shots from 10 feet out and more time after time. lebron played great and had a record number of open looks. i think the mob got to danny green. parker sub par. manu’s numbers were better than how he really played which was fair at best. leonard played super. battier stepped up when his team really needed it and wade was good all game long. miami had more guys contribute on offense. except for the missed free throw’s late chalmbers played a good game. i would think miami will try to trade bosh. tigers beat bost in bottom of 9th and yanks lose. can’t see san antonio back in the finals. duncan will be 53 next year…manu is pushing 40 parker is getting old. only the dilution of talent because there are too many teams will give the spurs a chance of going far in the playoffs next year. i know it’s hard to compare teams from different era’s but i believe that this heat team couldn’t beat jordan’s bulls teams, the pistons natsy boy teams, or the celts or lakers of the 80’s. but in today’s game they are the best. how does a team without a good point guard, with no center win a championship?

Fred you almost made sense.
A great game to me is one that is highly competitive with so much at stake.
It was electric with both teams playing full out, especially on defense.
The Spurs played off of LeB the while series outside the lane. They dared him to shoot but he passed off most of the series when the double and triples squeezed him.
Last night he was more aggressive and took the open shots as did everyone on the Heat , with the exception of Bosh, who seemed to lose confidence.
The lead was never more than 6 till the end.
Literally could have gone to either team, which was exciting to me.
Last I looked the Heat did have a point guard in Chalmers, who played ok. And at times LeB played point and defended the point.
They got by with Bosh and Bird defending the center.
But they beat a team with consensus best Center/ forward and point guard in the game. And maybe in the history per several pundits.
That speaks to the talent of LeB and Wade.
The league and game have shifted over the last decade to one smaller and faster. Not many traditional centers left.
I loved the series and playoffs as well as the regular season as well.
The talent level Is amazing , and will just keep getting better.

Fred you almost made sense.
most be on the im-prove….as we say at the race track.
mike both teams had more turnovers than assists. that’s sloppy. and most of the turnovers were unforced errors as in the 2 manu had late in the game…one ball right through his hands anda pass intended for no one.
how many 7th games to you vividly remember. this point came up on espn mike and mike and even those guys who follow sports 247 really couldn’t come up with many games they really remembered. i think people remember big plays more so than what game. bird steals the ball passes to dj for game winner. magic’s hook vs celts. bird follows miss with incredible left hand shot. havlichek steals the ball. because a game is competitive doesn’t mean it’s a great game to me. md vs ind tight for what 37 min but a tough game to watch. chalmbers played ok last night but game in game out he’s nothing. the game is changing with more versatile smaller guys than the big men era.
