the “4th” outfielder doesn’t have to be picked for the all star game. no one voted behind teh starters is guaranteed a spot. he’s 4th not first second or third. why vegas says the o/u is 8.5…95% of the time flacco needed to make a important pass he went to bouldin. losing leach is like losing an all pro off. lineman. losing reed and lewis you’re losing the teams 2 biggest leaders. they also lost a couple of linebackers who played a majority of the time. a lot of holes to fill. can jacoby jones step up and be a consistent starter and hold on to the ball. he doesn’t have a great repuataion as a guy with good hands. can torrey smith step up as the number option. will the defense get better. they weren’t a dominating defense last year. so there are questions about the ravens. it’s just most fans have trouble looking at things objectively when it comes to their own team. just a side note i mentioned the over/under to a couple of big football fans down here that aren’t ravens fans and they don’t think the ravens will have a good year. a lot of this is your perspective. ravens fans look at the team much differently than those who don’t have a personal interest or passion for the team. you saw this last year as the orioles season went on. the outsiders kept saying the o’s would fold and the o’s fans thought differently. as a ravens fan you hope mckinnie stays healthy because he made the big big difference. until he was put back in the starting lineup the offense was inconsistent. and mckinnie isn’t a young pup. hard to call the orioles pitching staff as good or better than 3/4 of the teams when they have the next to worst era in baseball and they have blown more games than any other team in baseball. someone please tell donald the o’s starters are no longer palmer, mcnally, cuellar and dobson. every team in baseball is flawed. orioles need to have their starters go deeper into games to save some of the wear and tear of the bullpen. how dumb are the owners to pay the nba salaries? how dumb are the fans to pay $200-$300 and more for a ticket. in regards to vasquez, the pelicans gave vasquez a chance to showcase what he has. he doesn’t fit for the style of ball n.o. wants to play. they want to play a more up tempo game and vasquez is slow. plus it’s hard to imagine he plays really good defense. too slow..not athletic. needs to be on a team who plays a little slower pace. raw numbers pts per game/assists doesn’t necessarily show the whole picture.

I feel the Ravens will be an elite team this year. The mediocre defense will be more aggressive, faster and younger. The coordinator has another year, and the loss of Pollard, Lewis and Reed will result in a more disciplined unit.
Offensively I feel Flacco is ready to become that consistent leader/ performer. He is getting more confident and the scheme is now more to his liking.
The OL is starting to get younger and deeper.
We now have 2 solid running backs, and look for them both to be in the same backfield at times.
Kicking game is solid, and Harbaugh is maturing as the recognized now acknowledged leader.
Steelers are not improved , Browns, though getting more competitive are lost and look for Bengals to pull a late fade.
