As expected, Hyattsville (Md.) DeMatha offensive lineman Brock Rublereleased his top five today. In no order, Ruble is still considering Florida State, Tennessee, N.C. State, Ohio State and Maryland.

“The biggest thing with me was that they have my major, which is sports management/sports broadcasting,” said the 6-foot-8, 321-pound Ruble. “I also needed a home like feel from the campus and coaching staff.”
There were specific things Ruble liked about each school.
Florida State – “I really hit it off with Coach Sal, Coach Trickett, and Coach Fisher,” he said. “With a wonderful campus and a chance to play early had me really liking Florida State.”
Tennessee – “Tennessee also presents an opportunity to play early,” Ruble said. “I really have built a great relationship with Coach Mahoney.”
N.C. State – “I had a great vibe around the whole football program and I really feel they are a program that is really on the rise,” he said. “I really enjoyed my visit and established a great relationship with Coach McNutt, Coach Canada and Coach Uremovich. We also talked about a chance to play early on my visit.”
Ohio State – “The thing that caught me about Ohio State is that it reminded me a lot of DeMatha,” said Ruble. “Its great football tradition and the way the coaching staff acted me reminded me of a larger scale DeMatha and the relationship that has been created with Coach Warinner is growing.”
Maryland – “The fact that Maryland is my home state does weigh heavy in my mind,” he admitted. “My relationships with Coach Locksley and Coach Brattan have also been good and there also is an opportunity to play early there.”
