O’s rally To defeat Giants 10-2 to Take the Series

JJ Hardy went deep with a 2 run HR to give the Orioles a 3-2 lead and then the floodgates opened capped by a 3 run HR by Adam Jones.

I was actually at the game Friday night when the San Francisco fans actually got a taste of Orange Crush in the form of Chris Davis. Some comments on the stadium:

The fact this stadium is so accessible to public transportation has helped to create the 200 plus consecutive sellouts.

I actually took something caalled the Cal Train in from an airport hotel that was cheap and very easy.

Barry Bonds and Melky Cabrera are very touchy subjects among the Giants fans.

Each section in the lower deck has 43 rows which creates havoc for anyone just right of the aisle on 1st base side. Poor design in this regard.

Oriole contingent of fans was small but vocal.

Orioles caterers should check out the food in SF because it is vastly more varied and superior to Camden Yards.

Great rock singalongs during the game.

Nothing can help the boredom known as National League Baseball sans the DH.

FYI one day in SF I wore a Ravens jersey and yes caught lots of abuse from 49er fans.

my guess is that the san fransico crowd is comprised of a little more sophisticated group of people hence the varied food options. you go to a ball park to watch a game and eat hot dogs. that’s baseball. you want a nice meal, go to nice restaurant before or after the game, which you probably did anyway.
