The premise—Riggs wanted to clear a $100,000 worth of gambling losses
The fallacy in my opinion–Riggs stood to make several times that amount with a victory
What always confused me–I was a OK tennis player who watched a former world champion in Riggs make some of the most amateurish shots I had ever seen. Every facet of his game was horrendous.
