Career nights from senior goalkeeperNatalie Hunter and sophomore Anna Dessoye led No. 2 Maryland field hockey to a 3-0 victory at No. 8 Old Dominion Friday night.
Hunter notched a career-high 10 saves, including seven in the second half, to preserve the shutout. Dessoye, who scored twice in the first half, has started 2013 on a hot streak for the Terrapins (3-0), with 12 points in the first three games of the season. Her two goals Friday were her third and fourth goals of the year. Dessoye matched her career-high of two goals in a game last September vs. #19 Massachusetts.
