The browns virtually shut down the Ravens offense in the 1st half and took a 6 zip lead into the locker room at half. The irony of they is that the guy who won’t go away, Billy Cundiff was 2-2 from FG range and his replacement Justin Tucker missed his 2 FGs. Obviously it was a long weekend for the Longhorns.
As Donald Saiontz predicted on “In the Nest” Sunday morning, Tandos Doss played a key role in the Ravens win with 2 strong punt returns, one of which set up the 2nd TD.
Reviewing the perforance of the receiving corps:
For one day, Torrey became the Wes Welker of the Ravens–catching 6 shorts passes, mainly over the middle for 85 yards.
Brandon Stokley had 3 receptions all for first downs on 3rd down plays.
Ed Dickson dropped the first pass fro Flacco and seemed not to be targeted again
Dallas Clark caught one pas and then was hit hard by Cleveland.
Torrey Smith –Torrey was the Tavens Wes Welker of the day, grabbing 6 short passes gaining 85 yards.
Marlon Brown caught his 2nd TD pass in 2 games but did drop a TS early on.
Elsewhere in the NFL
Seattle destroyed the 49ers as Anquan was held to one catch.
The Redskins got hammered by the Packers 38-20 though the game was not that close
