Just a few observations of a convincing win over one of the AFC favorites:
I said it on In the Nest this morning–the Ravens should almost never be a home underdog. Case closed.
Can you imagine that Tandon Doss was out of a job before the inuries hit the Ravens. Kudos to Donald Saiontz who last week predicted Tandon would become a factor in the team’s success. Tandon had a 82 yard punt return to the house.
I thought that that Houston played it way to close to the vest early on and squandered a chance to take a big lead.Twice on 3rd and long in the 1st half, Houston ran a draw to no avail. When you come into a Lion’s den you had better roar.
Joe’s sideline pass to Torrey was a thing of beauty catching the ex terp in stride.
I don’t believe Ray Rice is going to lose much sleep over losing his position to Bernard Pierce.
Dallas Clark caught a few first down passes today.
Elsewhere in the NFL
The Steelers fell to 0-3 dropping a 40-23 decision to the now 3-0 Bears
The Redskins drop to 0-3 after losing their 2nd home to the Lions
San Francisco–a lock for the Super Bow;? Not so sure about that. The 49ers get drubbed by Indy.
