Some observations of a great time at Joe Robbie Stadium, Pro Players Stadium, Land Shark Stadium or whatever:
Coach Harbaugh said it best–What a showing from Bmore–The O in the anthem was deafening, the lower deck on the Ravens side had to be 80% Ravens fans, but it was hot. I thought the NCAA Lacrosse Title game against UVA was hot but that was like a cool spring day compared to the oppressive heat on Sunday.
The Dolphin offensive had been porous leading up to this game and it only got worse. Tannenhill, who by the way threw for over 300 yards , was sacked 6 times including 3 by Suggs andthe key play of the game, a Dumervil sack that brought the failed FG attempt to 57 yards
Torrey was brilliant again catching 6 for 121 yards. It was great to see Ed Dicksoncatch a few balls today as well.
What bothers me is that Joe is getting drilled almost everytime he throws downfield. This is a disaster waiting to happen.
I know the Ravens need to runthe ball to win but run, run, pass got old in the 1st half.
Ray Rice ran the ball for 74 yards on 27 carries.
BTW Justin Tucker was 4-4 for FGs, including the game winner. Ho Hum.
Access and egress from the stadium was great. But I wonder what the stadium would have looked like without the 15-20,000 Ravens fans. The game wasn’t even sold out.
Listening to talk radio over the few days I was there, the conversations were stop Suggs and Dumervil. There was a general knowledge that the Ravens were going to get Ray his touches no matter what.
