on playing at home
We’ve played better at home. I think you’re always more comfortable at home and we’ve had great support here. you’re in your own locker room and have had great surroundings
on what defense has to do against clemson offense
They’re very talented. Boyd, Watkins, Humphries, McDowell, up front, they present a big time challenge for you. they have a number of playmakers that can hurt you.
on QB situation
it’ll be either caleb or cj in there. we’ll make a decision based on the health of our quarterback. concussion isn’t the issue, but there’s some things we have to look at to not put guys in danger from a health standpoint…
on boyd comparison to winston
Tajh is right there at the top as well. they’re very similar. they’re big, they’re strong, tajh probably runs the ball more.they’re very comparable.
Boyd is a very good QB and a great leader. he gets the ball to his playmakers, doesn’t make a lot of mistakes and we have tremendous respect for him
on Abner Logan
I thought abner for his first game starting did a good job. as he gets more reps i think he’s going to be a very good LB for us. it’s just him gaining experience. he wasn’t perfect but he did good things there and he got better as the game went on.
on WRs
levern jacbos and amba etta have to step up. then we have nigel and malcolm at the otehr spot. levern has made some big catches and it’s time for them to take advantage of their opportunity. i think they’re up for the challenge
on WRs going down
I’ve experienced a lot in the last couple years, but not like that in terms of injuries. both of them [Diggs, Long] are good guys and to see that happen, one after the other, it’s tough. but they’ll rehab and be better when they come back. but now levern and the others will have to step up…hopefully they’ll do that for us.
