Senior Alyssa Thomas had 14 points and 12 rebounds to lead the No. 6 Maryland women’s basketball team to an 89-53 victory over Loyola at Comcast Center Sunday afternoon.
The Terrapins (2-0, 0-0 ACC) dominated from the opening tip, limiting the Greyhounds (0-1, 0-0 Patriot League) to just 35 percent shooting for the contest. Senior Alicia DeVaughnchipped in 14 points and six rebounds while freshmanShatori Walker-Kimbrough had a strong outing with 10 points and four assists.
