Highlights and lowlights from tonight’s game:
Jake Layman was stellar tonight, once again proving as Jake goes so do the Terps—didn’t start because a thigh bruise prevented him from practicing
Turgeon benched Dez 5 minutes into the for the next 17 minutes–because of a verbal disagreement–Post game he said all was quickly forgotten
I’m just not sure what good comes from a game against such a lowly ranked squad–The win doesn’t help your RPI, a los is devastating
Shaq–2rebounds 1 point in 13 minutes but continues to start
Charles Mitchell was solid tonight with 15 points and 11 rebounds in 23 minutes—Do the math
Nick Faust had for him a quiet 11 points on only 9 shots
Roddy Peters continues to take big steps toward becoming the starting point–22 minutes 4 pts –2 assists–BUT 4 turnovers
Incredibly the Terps trailed 41-34 with 16 minutes left in the game—Terps ended game on 29-0 run
