Let’s cut to the chase–34 all 1 second left in regulation and Nick Saban has his long FG kicker attempt a 57 yarder. The kick was short and Alabama’s span coverage was horrific as Auburn’s return guy went virtually untouched up the left sideline for the victory. What makes this unbelievable is that 3 minutes earlier Saban passed on a 35 yard FG attempt to go for it on 4th and 1 when a FG would have clinched the game. I predicted the Auburn victory this morning and at the end of the day Saban saved the Crimson Tide from a defeat at the hands of FSU, easily the best team in the nation.
