Unleash the Fury—Not—Caps fail to hold 2 separate 2 goal leads inn the 3rd period–Drop OT 5-4 decision to New Jersey

photo-129Up 3-1 and then 4-2 in the final period, the Devils just kept chaging and overcame Washington. Ovie scored his 30th goal of the year.

The season isn’t quite half over, and already New Jersey Devils coach Pete DeBoer might be running out ways to praise about Jaromir Jagr. Jagr had a goal and two assists, Andy Greene scored 43 seconds into overtime and Marek Zidlickyhad two goals as the Devils rallied past the Washington Capitals 5-4 Saturday night. “He amazes me every night I come to the rink,” DeBoer said of the 41-year-old forward. “I don’t have a lot more adjectives to describe him, but he’s a pleasure to work with.”

It was Jagr’s 13th goal of the season and career No. 694, moving him into a tie with Mark Messier for seventh all-time.
