WASHINGTON, D.C. – One day away from the 2013 Military Bowl, the Maryland football team joined Marshall for the Military Bowl Luncheon on Thursday afternoon from the Renaissance Washington D.C.
With the two teams present, the bowl honored Medal of Honor recipient Hershel “Woody” Williams, before head coach Randy Edsall and quarterback C.J. Brown participated in a question-and-answer session in the Renaissance Ballroom.
The question-and-answer session was moderated by Comcast SportsNet’s Rob Carlin and included Marshall head coach Doc Holliday and Herd offensive lineman Chris Jasperse.
With kickoff less than 24 hours away, Edsall and the Terps are excited about an opportunity to play in the state capital. “It’s very important to be able to play in your state capital, to have your friends, your family the donors here to support the kids,” said Edsall.
