In Memoriam: Maryland Club Lacrosse Goalie Cory Hubbard

From Insidelacrosse.com

By Perry Craz

A few days ago, Cory Hubbard, a 22 year old goalie on the University of Maryland club lacrosse team, was killed by a hit and run driver walking to his car in Baltimore.

Cory was taken much too soon and was a huge part of the Westhampton Beach community. As a four year starter on the lacrosse team, Cory was one of the brightest, most caring, influential people on the team. He was also the starting quarterback for the football team, as well as a star wrestler.

Cory traveled the world surfing and was always the voice of reason and brought love and excitement with him wherever he went and his lacrosse career at Westhampton left a mark of excellence and to always fight through any adversity.
