How can the Terps get to 11 conference wins? This will be an extremely daunting task which has been made necessary by the 5 out of conference losses. Nine games remain. The Terps are 5-4. 3 brutally tough games will be extremely difficult for the Terps to win.
UVA at Charlottesville on Monday Feb 10 —UVA is on fire right now
Duke at Cameron on Saturday Feb 15 —if you watched Cuse Duke there is not much to say
Cuse at Comcast on Monday Feb 24–see above but it helps that Cuse will have just had an epic battle at Duke on Saturday Feb 22
So that’s the 7 losses.
That leaves 6 games that are winnable but there is no room for error.
Carolina and Clemson on the road –and FSU, Wake, Virginia Tech and UVA at home.
10-8 might seem more possible and then 3 wins in the ACC Tournament. Maybe 10-8 with a Duke or Cuse win. But it begins tonight against a Carolina team that has won 3 in a row.
