Before we blinked the Terps trailed 19-3. The rest of the night was just a futile attempt to get even which never happened. To the Terps credit, they battled the entire game until the last few moments but 3 treys by Marcus Paige put the game out of reach.
So much for my scenario.
The Terps were 6-23 from the 3 point line , many of which were ill advised , too rapid shots.
Dez led the way for Maryland with 18 points on 6-12 shooting. He was uncharacteristically off from the foul line at 6-10.
