Amazing how a game changes when moving to your home court.
Strengths
Turgeon had the team extremely well prepared tonight
Seth Allen was incredible today—11=15 from the field, 7 treys on 10 attempts, 4 rebounds and 2 assists
The press early on really took FSU out of its comfort level–which they really never got into
Dez played the pivot against the zone and was able to dish to his shooters to the tune of 6 assists–a classic point forward game
Maryland out hustled FSU all over the court
Weaknesses
The Terps were out rebounded 38-31 including 20 offensive rebounds for FSU
Smotrycz had a rare off game scoring bu 4 points and blanking from the field.
The Terps committed some unnecessary fouls down the wire as well as well as rushing some shots
Moving on
Now the question is can Maryland use this victory to springboard an upset victory at UVA Monday night. Remember Maryland is now 4-1 at home and 2-4 on the road.
