Seth Allen’s 34 point explosion vs. Florida State was the 66th time a Maryland player has scored 30 plus in a game. It may be Allen’s career game when it is all said and done. Saturday was a good win for the Terps. If you believe in miracles-and you should-it doesn’t cost anything….Maryland probably needs to win 5 out of the last 7 and at least 2 games in the ACC Tourney to have any chance of going to the Big Dance. Possible, sure…Probable, unlikely.

A good finish by the Terps could be an invite to the N.I.T., but don’t start burning the mattresses just yet. Long way to go.

More than likely on Saturday we had 2 teams going nowhere in a hurry. But ya never know.

UVA has been blowing out teams when they win. It would be a big upset for the Terps to knock of the Cavs, but upsets happen. Just ask Man O’ War. A horse named Upset beat him and that’s why big surprise wins are called “upsets”!
